Kaitlin works in acrylics on canvas, creating dramatic abstract paintings inspired by nature.
After completing her B.A. in Visual Arts from The University of Western Ontario, Kaitlin obtained her art teaching degree from the University of Wollongong in NSW, Australia. Kaitlin’s artistic practice focuses on teasing out the beauty and raw emotion of each inspiration, drawing on rhythms and unique combinations of colour gathered through travel in Africa, India, Australia and Indonesia.

Simple, light, love-filled.
Beverage of choice
Need at least two cups of coffee with cream first thing in the morning. All about sparkling water when I'm out socializing.

Get a snack, sit outside if possible, listen to podcasts, browse Instagram, be on Pixelmator trying out ideas on top of works in progress.
When I'm not making art, I'm (a) ...
Mom of two kiddos, so I'm making snacks for them, answering lots of questions, cleaning up messes ;) What I love to do for myself is go for a long bike ride through a forest trail followed by some yoga and meditation.
